Vineyard

Located in PEZENAS, the chateau was built in the first half of the 19th century, and totally renovated during the last thirty years. The medieval town of Pezenas is located in the plain of the Herault river, about 20 kilometers from the Mediterranean Sea, 51 kilometers west of Montpellier and 23 kilometers east of Beziers. It is easily accessible by the A 75 motorway (Clermont-Ferrand - Beziers axis) and by the A9 motorway (Orange axis - border with Spain). The main courtyard is entered through a Flemish-style portal with a wrought iron gate. At the end of this courtyard rises the residence with a surface area of 1300 m2 consisting of a main body of two floors located in the heart of a superb 2000 m2 park with swimming pool. We are greeted by a large entrance hall and its majestic staircase, which we suspect to have been designed by Louis Garros, a renowned Bordeaux architect.… ... The hall serves the various reception rooms: A double living room, a dining room piano and jexu, an office, a large dining room, an equipped kitchen and its superb period fireplace. The magnificent staircase leads us to the first floor where there is a boudoir and 6 main suites. Each has its own style and offers us different and intimate settings. The so-called parental suite has a large bathroom with a superb marble floor, jacuzzi bath, sauna and large dressing room, all under the watchful eye of the beautiful Venus. A more modest staircase takes us to the top floor, formerly the staff floor. This level consists of 4 suites and a room to convert. The latter open onto a large terrace offering a beautiful view of the park and the surrounding countryside. Under the roofs is a large attic of 242 m2 and its majestic frame. A veritable museum of the past, a collection of art and furniture is inseparable from the sale of the estate. An estimated and detailed inventory is carried out. The vineyard of about 63 hectares in AOP Languedoc and IGP d'Oc is in reasoned agriculture. It is therefore easily convertible into organic farming. It is almost entirely irrigated. The average yield is around 45 hl / ha. The large winery adjoins the chateau and houses a vat room (stainless steel, concrete and fiber) with a capacity of over 7,665 hl. The current production is around 4000hl. The estate's wines have won several medals and are exported around the world. In addition, an olive grove of 1000 feet in production the property is sold excluding stocks and advances on crops. This property with great potential can accommodate various projects such as a wine center, wine tourism, seminars, receptions.
